The Christa McAuliffe Space Center (CMSC) began as a classroom experiment by its founder, Victor Williamson, who used the power of imagination to transport his class to the outer reaches of our solar system and beyond. Over the years, the program expanded through grants, donations and volunteer work, leading to the opening of the first simulator, the Voyager, on November 8, 1990.
Since then, the Space Center has inspired thousands of children in Utah and beyond, offering immersive simulations that place students in leadership, engineering and science roles while they tackle curriculum-based challenges. The experience is both unforgettable and educational, promoting teamwork, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is a neutral, independent organization committed to ensuring humanitarian protection and assistance for people affected by armed conflict and violence, natural disasters and other emergencies.
